Gasoline and Diesel Prices in Europe

Different countries not only have different costs to buy fuel, gasoline and diesel for the petrol station. They also have different taxes, depending on their local politics. We have collected some countries in Europe for you to get an overview about the prices for fuel in the countries. The prices are average prices. So it can change locally and of course also by the brands of the petrol station. Premium petrol stations and well known brands are often more expensive. But on the other hand you can use cards on these petrol stations like Routex. Cheap and discont petrol stations normally have better prices, but many of them can not accept special cards for payment.

Expensive Fuel in Europe: Netherlands, Denmark and Italy

The most expensive countries in average of fuel prices are the Netherlands, Denmark and Italy. The countries where you can buy fuel, gasoline and diesel cheap in Europe are Poland, Czech Republic, Luxemburg and also Austria. Of course you can often not choose in which country you get your fuel. But sometimes, especially when you cross a border, it might be good for you to think about that. Either go to the petrol station across the border or go to the petrol station before you cross the border to another country.
